We don’t just sell Shepherd’s huts

We don’t just sell Shepherd’s huts.

I could just stop there really but what do I really mean by this? Well, part of this statement is literal, we don’t just sell Shepherd’s huts. We obviously manufacture them, but we also get involved with other areas of the joinery and the carpentry world such as:

  • green oak garden gazebo’s
  • pagodas
  • outdoor kitchens
  • other garden structures

We also get involved in more mainstream joinery projects like:

  • windows
  • doors
  • wardrobes, etc.

In the business world, this is seen like legs to a table – the more legs the table has the more stable it will be.

The other side to this statement is this idea of what we can create and bring to life for clients, like the dreams of a small hamlet of huts gathered around an old farm orchard creating a little glamping escape or a shepherd’s hut placed in a secluded part of the garden away from everyday life allowing for a secret retreat. A cosy little home office placed at the end of the garden where you can escape the ever growing stressful workday commute and work in a beautiful setting.

An interesting meeting we had recently was with a lady who wants to live in a shepherd’s hut in the grounds of her large garden as an annex allowing her son, daughter in-law and her grandchildren to live in her house and in turn are going to care for her as she grows old. We felt this was a magical idea, and for us to be a cog in the wheel to keeping a family together feels such a privilege. So, you see we don’t just sell Shepherd’s huts; we sell so much more, we sell a lifestyle choice, we sell the opportunity to take a different path, we sell dreams, we help unlock those dreams you have of a slower pace of life, maybe helping in creating a new life, even a life that brings people together like the lady in this article.

So, the next time you see one of our shepherd’s huts pictured in a glossy magazine or a social media post of one of our huts being built ask yourself “I wonder what their dream is”.

And lastly, dreams do come true so, what would your dream be? Hope it has a shepherd’s hut in it!
